Installing or re-installing SoftFin or FinTaxPlus programs WILL require activation codes to be obtained from Softbyte Computers. Updating existing, already-installed, copies of SoftFin or FinTaxPlus WILL NOT require activation codes!  The Installation and Updates files below contain all previous updates issued for that program.

Please close the program you are updating as you will not be able to update an open program.

Press the ‘Ctrl’ and ‘F5’ keys simultaneously to ensure you are viewing the latest version of this page.

Please DO NOT change the default install folder for any of our programs when installing them.

If you do then updates we issue later will not be able to find the program if it has been installed in a different folder.  Note that Windows will not allow you to re-install or update a particular program if you have that program loaded so exit the program before trying to re-install it or update it.
